The proposed actions will improve career pathways, including through streamlining the process for Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HALT) accreditation, and providing better professional support for teachers to retain them in the profession.

There needs to be further pay scale increases for teachers who are experienced (beyond 10 years) but do not want to enter leadership. Keep these skilled teachers in the classroom by having more ranges on the scale, otherwise teachers will leave to work in different sectors where they can be paid much more.
Not every teacher wants to enter leadership, but the pay is a huge factor once you are experienced, and will cause me to reconsider my career.
