The Expert Panel have released the Quality Initial Teacher Education Review (the Review) Discussion Paper for consultation.
This Discussion Paper addresses two key themes:
- Attracting and selecting high-quality candidates into the teaching profession
- Preparing initial teacher education students to be effective teachers
Individuals and organisations are encouraged to make a submission to the Review. The Expert Panel are particularly interested to hear from current and former teachers and principals, initial teacher education students and people considering a career as a teacher, in addition to education sector stakeholders.
