On 30 April 2021, the Hon Alan Tudge MP, Minister for Education and Youth and the Hon Stuart Robert MP, Minister for Employment, Workforce, Skills, Small and Family Business, announced funding of $9.4 million for an Innovation Fund that will offer grants of up to $150,000 for eligible providers to grow offshore and online delivery.
International education providers, hardest hit by COVID-19 and lower international student numbers, can now apply for up to $150,000 to improve and diversify their online and offshore education offerings.
English Australia has been appointed the Program Administrator for the Innovation Fund, for which applications are now open. Payments will be made to successful applicants from July 2021.
