In Australia, early childhood education and care is delivered by providers and services in the states and territories and subsidised by the Australian Government.

For Providers

Child Care Subsidy is generally paid to providers who pass it on to families as a fee reduction. Providers must be approved by the department to receive CCS on behalf of families.
For families

Families must meet eligibility criteria to get Child Care Subsidy (CCS). The amount of CCS a family can get depends on their circumstances.
