Information for Career Practitioners

This page provides information on a number of career practitioner resources, available to download or view online. It also provides links to a number of career practitioner associations. Career practitioners include career advisers in schools, universities and TAFEs, VET teachers and coordinators, counsellors, those operating in community-based organisations and employment related programs.

  • The Australian Blueprint for Career Development is a framework for designing, implementing and evaluating career development programmes. It identifies the skills, attitudes and knowledge individuals need to manage their careers. This website contains the downloadable Blueprint document, toolkits, case studies of the Blueprint in use, and the final report of the 2012 review of the Blueprint.
