Regional University Study Hubs – 2023 Application Round

The 2023 Application Round for the Regional University Study Hubs Program is now closed.

On 18 July 2023, in response to the Australian Universities Accord Interim Report, the Australian Government announced funding to double the number of University Study Hubs, including additional Regional University Study Hubs.

The new Regional University Study Hubs will be established across two streams, Cohort 4 and Cohort 5.

Cohort 4

On 25 March 2024, the Hon Jason Clare MP, Minister for Education, announced the successful hubs from the 2023 Application Round:

  • Ashburton University Study Hub (Onslow and Tom Price, WA)
  • Katanning Study Hub (Katanning, WA)
  • Garrthalala Bush University Study Hub (Northeast Arnhem Land, NT)
  • South Hub South Coast (Victor Harbor, SA)
  • Country Universities Centre RAPAD (Longreach, Barcaldine, Blackall, Winton, Boulia, Bedourie, Birdsville and Jundah, QLD)
  • Country Universities Centre Southern Downs (Warwick, QLD)
  • Country Universities Centre Western Downs (Chinchilla, QLD)
  • Innisfail Regional University Study Hub (Innisfail, QLD)
  • Country Universities Centre Cowra Region (Cowra, NSW)
  • Country Universities Centre Mudgee Region (Mudgee, NSW)
  • Gippsland East Higher Education Study Hub (Mallacoota, Orbost, Omeo, Heyfield and Yarram, VIC)
  • Study King Island (King Island, TAS)
