No, this Professional Learning Package is only for NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains.

However, all student wellbeing officers and chaplains and school communities have access to a free online eSafety Professional Learning Program, which provides participants with an understanding of the relevant issues and strategies available to support the safe, responsible and ethical use of ICT.

What does the Professional Learning Package for NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains include?

The Professional Learning Package comprises a live webinar and an online quiz. It covers topics on cyberbullying (including pathways to report and support), empowering bystanders, whole-school preventative approaches and a general overview of online safety issues.

NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains can access the  Professional Learning Package.

What are NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains' obligations on completion of Professional Learning Package?

NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains must provide a copy of their Certificate of Completion to their employer. Schools may also request a copy of the Certificate. Employers may be asked to forward a copy of this Certificate to the relevant state or territory education department on request.

Yes. All NSWP funded student wellbeing officers and chaplains are required to complete the Professional Learning Package irrespective of prior learning on this subject.
